Yes! We offer no-cost EMI and low-cost EMI options for most international trips. Contact us for specific EMI plans available for your chosen trip.

Full payment is typically due 30–45 days before the trip start date. We'll send you a payment reminder with clear deadlines. Exceptions may apply for some trips.

Most of our trips are fixed-departure group trips with set dates. However, we also offer custom/private trips for groups of 6+ people. Contact us for custom itinerary planning.

Our group trips typically have 15–30 travellers. The intimate size ensures everyone gets to know each other while still having a lively group energy. A Trip Captain accompanies every group.

Absolutely! About 70% of our travellers join solo. It's the best way to make new friends. We have experienced Trip Captains, 24/7 support, and verified accommodations. Both male and female travellers are welcome.

For backpacking trips: premium hostels with shared dormitory rooms (mixed/gender-specific). For cultural trips: 3-star hotels with twin sharing. All stays are hand-picked for cleanliness, safety, and location. Upgrades available on request.

Yes! For European trips, we provide complete Schengen visa assistance — document checklist, appointment booking, cover letters, travel insurance, and itinerary documents. For Asian destinations, we guide you through the e-visa or visa-on-arrival process.

Visa assistance and guidance are included. The actual visa fee payable to the embassy/consulate is typically separate unless specifically mentioned in the package inclusions. Check individual package details for clarity.

At minimum: valid passport (6+ months validity), passport-size photographs, visa application, bank statements (3–6 months), and travel insurance. For Schengen visas, additional documents may be needed. We provide a detailed checklist after booking.

General policy:
• 30+ days before departure: 50% of total cost charged
• 15–30 days before: 75% charged
• 0–15 days before: 100% charged (no refund)
• Initial booking amount is non-refundable in all cases

Transfers may be possible before visa processing begins, subject to availability and a transfer fee. Contact our support team as early as possible to discuss options.

In the rare event we cancel a trip (due to insufficient group size or force majeure), you'll receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another trip of equal or greater value. We typically confirm/cancel trips 3–4 weeks before departure.

We strongly recommend travel insurance and can help arrange it for you. For European trips, travel insurance is mandatory for Schengen visa processing. Insurance typically costs ₹800–₹2,000 depending on destination and duration.

You'll have an experienced MountMonks Trip Captain with you throughout the journey. Our back-office team provides 24/7 remote support. We also have local contacts and guides at each destination for any emergencies.
